What colour can I paint over it, to make it look lighter? Or will I have to remove it all?

Muting brown painted hair colour??
Just finished painting hair on one of my kits, and don’t like it because it’s too dark. Should have removed it before I heat set it, but didn’t think it would be this dark.
What colour can I paint over it, to make it look lighter? Or will I have to remove it all?
