- How To Add A Gallery/Album
To add a personal album to upload images to, simply go to your UCP where you should see a “Gallery” tab.
Select the Gallery tab which will open the next screen…
When you click on the “Create personal album” button, it creates an album with your username as the album name.
After creating your main album, you can directly upload images to it on this screen if you wish but can also do so from the gallery page as well once inside of your created album. The ability to edit the album description is presented on this page as well.
You do have the ability of creating up to 5 sub albums within your main album if you wish to separate images that way. In total, you can have a maximum of 400 images uploaded at any given time between your main album and sub-albums. There is a maximum number of 100 images allowed within any given (sub)album with the maximum image size allowed to be uploaded is 5Mb. 4 images at a time can be uploaded if desired.
- Managing Your Gallery
After creating your first album, you can visit the gallery page where you’ll see your personal album listed under the “Users Personal Albums” which you can then click on to enter your album.
You can choose to allow or not comments to be made on your uploaded images by other registered DollFan members and again, choose up to 4 images at a time to upload. In the below example, 4 images have been selected to be uploaded and once done, it will present you with the ability to alter the image name, individual image descriptions for each, and rotate the image if necessary.
Once uploaded, you can choose to turn comments off and alter the description again if desired. You as well have the ability to moderate comments left on your own images. Remember if you would like to create a sub album within your main album, that is done via your UCP in the Gallery tab.
- Linking To Your Image Within Or Outside Of The Forum
There are a couple of good ways to link your image within the forums depending on what you are wanting. You can copy and simply paste the code next to “Image BBCode:” right into your post which will put a smaller thumbnail version of the image into your post. The image if clicked on will open a new window with the full sized image in it. The “Image-URL:” link can be copied into your post with , which will present a bit larger image and when clicked on, will open up in a lightbox on top of your post without going to the gallery page. The “Image-URL:” link is also what would be used if you were linking your image outside of the forums.
