If you have cut open the eyes on a sleeping sculpt and then glued in eyes,
PLEASE tell me what glue you used to glue in the eye and how you got it to hold? I am finding this most hard since the eye does not set flush to the vinyl…

I'm not an expert at this but to get the eye to set flush to the socket, you will need to go inside the eye socket opening and very carefully thin the vinyl around the inside of your eye sockets. Do this by going through the front of the socket with your exacto knife, then keep trying the eyes against the sockets until they set flush. I would then use a light colored felt behind the eyes when gluing them in to help hold them in place.

Hmmmm that is an interesting idea.
I currently have used E6000 to glue the eye onto doe suede then the whole thing onto the eye opening and I have the head packed tight with poly fill to hold it in place. Will pull out the poly fill tomorrow and see if it worked. This has been a real pain to deal with!

It worked! Quick cell phone pic not good for color but you can see the eye is in!

That’s a great idea! I have a hard enough time gluing the eyes in open eyed kits, so I may try that myself in the future. Thanks for letting us know how it worked!
